Join us for chair yoga in the hall! All are invited.
If you can tie knots, you can help! A group is gathering this Wednesday in the hall to make quilts for CLWR. These quilts go to refugee camps, hospitals, areas where development projects are ongoing, and places recovering from natural disasters.
The activity ends with tea and cookies.
Cold buffet luncheon in the hall following worship. A love offering will be taken; money collected goes to the Women's Auxiliary of Martin Luther University College to support their ministries including offering bursaries for Clinical Pastoral Education programs, updating student areas, and taking care of the reflection garden.
If you can contribute sandwiches, please speak with Carol Grantham.
Jeff Pym, from the Evangelical Lutheran Foundation of Eastern Canada, will speak about the Foundation. You are invited to come for an update, conversation, and with any questions you might have. The church has a substantial investment with ELFEC.
Following worship, you are invited to sign cards for those who are an extension of our community; those who come for healing in the various support groups who share this sacred space. The cards are to offer hospitality, a prayer, and a blessing.
This event is on Transfiguration Sunday, reminding all of us that the journey of faith is one of transformation.
