The congregation is asked to think about the comfort of their neighbour:

communion for the time being will be continuous (with option to pick up a wafer for at your seat).

Church council re-evaluates COVID precautions at their monthly meeting.

Communion-to-Go

Each bag contains: bread, grape juice, and an at home liturgy (the instructions are below- and in the bag)

COMMUNION – TO- GO

Welcome to home-communion. This is very much like the practice experienced by those who are sick or are home-bound and have communion brought to them.  This bread and ‘wine’ were consecrated in the presence of the community, by the pastor during Sunday worship.

Gather alone, or with those of your household,- with the whole community- as we celebrate communion across space and time.

Set out the bread and juice, perhaps on a serviette. Follow the service below. If there is more than one person have one leader or pass this page around and each take a section or two.

*note there are 6 pieces of bread to accommodate family size– share it all at once or repeat the service more than once,
